In the year 1981 we get to know the Labrador Retriever by a friend. This in Germany still quite unknown breed casted a spell over us very soon. Gradually, we grew up in the desire to get such a dog as a family member of us. So 1984 our first puppy came into the house. „Earl of Westbrook“, called Jason – immediately he infected us with the "Labrador Virus”. In the following years, there were another dog and a first bitch. Since that time, we take active part in sports at the dogs, our dogs have different tests completed and they are successful iat dog shows in Germany and abroad. In the course of time there was the desire to breed this great dog by ourselves. 1990 we registered our kennel “of Seaport” to the FCI, under this name 1991 our first litter saw the light of day.
We are a small familiar breeding company, in which all dogs live with us in the house. The breeding of the puppies solely takes place in our house, with time to run in the garden, so the little varmints are optimally socialized when we give them away. The health and the Labrador-typical nature of the dogs/puppies are of course our first priority, but also the appearance of the dogs that is fixed by the FCI-standard, takes an equally high rating. By breeding Labradors over the years we get to know many people and out of this there are grown up several friendships.
